Hi! We're the Lugaro family and we have assumed ownership of Pigtails & Crewcuts: Willow Lawn as of April 1st, 2024. We are also the owners of the Pigtails & Crewcuts: Newport News, VA and Kristina Brown serves as our regional manager and leader for both locations. We are making a lot of positive changes to the salon under our ownership and leadership, and we look forward to earning the trust and support of the community. ***
Pigtails & Crewcuts: Willow Lawn in Richmond, VA is a small family business locally owned by parents, just like you, so we understand kids! Haircuts can be an exciting time, but for some, the experience can be overwhelming and even a little scary. We aim to make every visit a great experience for children of all ages and abilities and their families. Our stylists are ready to work with you and your child through wiggles, giggles, tears, and fears to ensure they look and feel great when their haircut is complete.
If you would like to schedule a Sensory Safe Solution haircut appointment with one of our Certified Sensory Safe Stylists, please email us first at amy.sensorysafesolution@gmail.com, and do not schedule an appointment online or through the app. A consultation is the first step in this process in order to ensure the time and attention your child needs is given from the start. There is no additional cost for this service.
We are by appointment with walk-ins being worked in as the schedule permits. For all appointments, we do kindly ask that you arrive at least five minutes early for your appointment to check-in at the front desk. If you are unable to attend your appointment or are running more than five minutes late, please give us a call to give us a heads up. You can schedule by giving us a call during open hours, downloading our easy to use app in your mobile app store, or by clicking the BOOK NOW button below.

About Us
Kids come first at the Pigtails & Crewcuts: Willow Lawn in Richmond, VA. Grab a fun styling chair and settle in for a haircut as our kid-friendly stylists work their magic while we play a family movie on the TV's. The concept behind this kid's salon is simple, getting a haircut should be fun and memorable! Our goal is to make the salon experience enjoyable for the entire family, customers tall and small, both parents and kids. We have chairs for kids, a tween/teen area, and chairs for adults. We offer first haircut, princess, and pirate packages, fairy hair, chlorine treatments, fun retail, kid-friendly haircare products, and much more! Every haircut ends with a visit to the treasure box to pick out a goodie and of course a lollipop or animal crackers. What's more fun than that?
